For as long as I can remember, I have experimented with my hair. I’ve had long hair, short hair, and even no hair at all. I’ve dyed my hair so many times I can’t even remember all the colors and combinations. However there was a downside to that: my hair was tired and depressed pretty much all the time.
In the year of 2004 I first considered braiding my hair with some additional material (at the time it was yarn), and oh my that went well! I fell in love with hair extensions, and realized that my hair doesn’t have to be tired and depressed after each new hairstyle. Since then, I’ve tried all kinds of braids, natural hair extensions, and, finally, synthetic dreads. Dreads have been my favorite way of changing my hairstyle for a long time. After years of experience, I know they’re perfectly safe and amazing if you want to go crazy with your hair, or just add some volume, or simply change something without actually changing your natural hair.
I’ve been working locally for more than 12 years, making my customers happy with their new hair. In December of 2016 my then-future-husband Caleb suggested I shouldn’t limit myself to my home town and start making dreads and braids for people all around the world. Shortly after, we opened our Etsy shop, and it’s been a great journey for both of us so far!
I love what I do, and I love that I can share my products with anyone out there who wants to change. Every happy customer makes me a happy little dreadmaker, this is why I’m always trying my best to make the sets as perfect as they can be. I hope you find what you’re looking for in my shop!
